committee

"There is something special about netball, and I think a large part of that is the community. Being part of a club is an important - we all enjoy the game and having a win, but it's also about surrounding yourself with like-minded people, building friendships and having fun."

Committee Cheltenham Panthers Netball Club

volunteers

Everyone is good at something!  You do not have to be on the Committee to join our community, but you may have skills that can support our club and create opportunities for our players and their families.

  • Do you have contacts to sponsorship opportunities?
  • Could you provide special coaching or drills supervision once per term?
  • Do you have grant or policy writing skills?
  • Can you help promote our events through social media messaging?

Helping out in small ways can make a big difference. We would love to hear from you!

interested in joining the committee?

Having parents who are willing to help out with the club by joining the committee makes all the difference to the opportunities we can offer players and the longevity of the club.

The commitment is bi-monthly meetings and around 2-3 hours a term. No skills or expertise is needed, just some enthusiasm. the role is overseeing the smooth running of the club. At meetings we discuss teams, uniforms, social events, fees, financial matters, new policies, coaching and training.

You’d be joining a friendly team who are committed to the club and to providing the best for our members.

A call for committee members is made in October/November each year, prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is open to all Cheltenham Panthers Members.

Committee Positions are:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Uniform Coordinator
  • Grievance Officer
  • General Committee (4-6 positions)
